Summary

The Sales Operations Specialist / SalesForce role provides a compelling opportunity for an individual with a proven track record of increasing productivity in sales, operations and revenue. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales Operations, this person will be responsible for streamlining processes, implementing improvements, helping plan for the ongoing growth of the sales team, and be a primary line of support for all sales-related activities. The role requires a mixture of business acumen and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Primary support for all sales-related activities/processes
  • SalesForce administration and configuration including users/profiles, security settings, workflows, process builder, triggers, custom objects, etc.
  • Primary support and point of contact for SalesForce-related questions from the sales team, including data imports, account assignments, opportunity updates, quoting, file management, etc.
  • Maintain integrity of services integrated with SalesForce, including external third party application integrations
  • SalesForce data integrity management and process automations
  • Lead financial and operational metrics and reporting
  • Create and maintain sales, financial and operational dashboards and reports to help leadership gain insight on financial results, trends, accuracy for new business, upsells and revenue
  • Refine and standardize sales processes to improve operational efficiency and sales effectiveness, including forecasting, pipeline management, quoting, deal desk, invoicing, etc.
  • Lead efforts to implement tools and processes to support the sales team
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help-related materials for the sales organization
  • Work cross-functionality with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal and other key stakeholders

Qualities / Experience We’re Seeking

  • Minimum 2+ years of administrative / enablement experience in a Sales Operations role in the high-tech industry (preferably SaaS/enterprise software)
  • Minimum 2+ years with SalesForce as an administrator with experience in writing Visual force, Apex classes and triggers a plus
  • Expert level in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills
  • In-depth understanding of Sales Operations business practices for sales processes and systems (sales cycles, account, territory, opportunity, pipeline management, etc)
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance and deadline-driven environment
  • Strategic and critical thinking
  • Ambition to win, with a shared purpose and a commitment to results
  • Flexibility and agility to adapt to change
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent
