The Job

Signal Sciences is seeking a Product Manager - Acquisition. The mission of this role is to build products and features that drive customer and user acquisition for Signal Sciences by expanding and refining our technology capabilities.

Job Duties

  • Defining product vision, strategy, and requirements for customer acquisition and aligning that with our go to market strategy
  • Building a roadmap of features and capabilities to accomplish and execute business objectives
  • Prioritizing and Grooming a backlog of features and enhancements for integrations with different infrastructure environments and tools (cloud, web-servers, programming languages, orchestration tools, etc)
  • Gathering product feedback from customers and market sources and adjusting prioritization and feature scope appropriately
  • Evangelizing the product vision to internal stakeholders, partners, and customers

A successful candidate will have experience in product management or development of webserver modules and/or RPC software in an agile software development environment (Scrum), have deep knowledge of DevOps best practices, and be able to communicate effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to empathize with customers and stakeholders of different types
  • 5-7 years of product management experience, or 5-7 years experience with DevOps infrastructure and automation tools
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all audiences ranging from C-level executives to veteran engineers.
  • Thorough understanding of web servers & cloud services.
  • Experience collaborating with product marketing to generate collateral to drive Sales.
  • Business and/or CS Degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B SaaS experience in the Information Security domain
  • Practical experience with Software Automation tools like Kubernetes or Envoy
  • Deep understanding of HTTP request response protocols
