Summary

We are searching for a team player who is passionate about providing excellent customer service to join the Signal Sciences Tech Operations team. From onboarding new hires and managing employee access to ensuring the Zoom conference rooms are up and running 100% of the time, this role is key to ensuring that SigSci operates smoothly and efficiently as we continue to grow and scale. Responsibilities

  • Support local and remote employees with their day-to-day IT challenges
  • Learn new technologies and approaches as the Company grows and scales. Think Big Picture.
  • Manage access for incoming and exiting employees
  • Provision and maintain local and SaaS-based user accounts, including BetterCloud, Github Enterprise, Google Apps for Work, Slack, Confluence and other business specific platforms
  • Proactively search for potential issues or improvements and lead the charge to addressing them
  • Manage IT Ticketing system queues as well as End User Service Portal
  • Manage configuration and hardware support of all mobile devices in an Enterprise MDM environment
  • Troubleshoot issues on user systems whether they are remote or in the office
  • Maintain health of Zoom conference rooms
  • Manage IT inventory and purchasing and oversee enterprise-wide asset tracking
  • Help shape and enforce basic IT standard operating procedures and Security Policies as team expands
  • Be an advocate for our Security Policies and Standard Operating Procedures

Qualities / Experience we’re seeking

  • Minimum 1 year of support experience, ideally in a tech environment
  • Solid understanding of macOS and iOS (SigSci is 100% Apple)
  • Ability to prioritize daily responsibilities and quickly rebalance when unexpected business needs arise
  • Remains cool under pressure
  • Demonstrates patience and wherewithal to find the best solution for a problem
  • Possesses the courage to fail…and then learn from it
  • Has the ability to recognize the difference between thin and thick imaging, and which is appropriate for each unique circumstance
